The same questions have fascinated me for years. Why does one product become a hit while another quietly disappears from the shelf? How do you tell a passing trend from a product genuinely worth knowing? And where do you find reliable, professional information in a world that launches something new every single day?

That curiosity is what pulled me into beauty more than a decade ago. My name is Michal Loren. I’ve been a professional makeup artist for more than 12 years and a hairstylist for the last 6. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients, tried more products than I can count, sat through brand launches, and watched this industry change from close range.

I’ve also been writing about beauty since 2015 and running the Beauty Life community on Facebook. Researching, comparing, testing, explaining - I’ve always loved the work of figuring out not just what’s new, but why any of it matters.

This magazine existed in my head long before it existed anywhere else. For years I wanted to build a professional platform that went well past a personal blog: a place for news, reviews, guides, launches, trends, and real professional knowledge, and a place that hands the microphone to the best people in the field.

No one person knows everything. The best knowledge gets built when professionals share what they’ve learned, under a high editorial standard and a real commitment to accuracy. That’s the whole vision here. Not to be the only voice, but to build the place where the best professional voices meet.

You’ll find makeup, skincare, hair, cosmetics, and the beauty industry as a whole covered here. Along the way, makeup artists, hairstylists, estheticians, dermatologists, cosmetic chemists, and other professionals will join the magazine, each bringing their own knowledge and experience, with every piece professionally edited to hold one consistent standard of quality, credibility, and clarity.

My goal isn’t to help you buy more products. It’s to help you choose well: to know what’s actually right for you, what’s genuinely new, what’s backed by real professional experience, and how to decide anything in a world where the marketing is louder than the information.

Transparency is inseparable from trust. So when an article is based on personal experience, we’ll say so. When it’s based on professional information or research, we’ll aim to link to quality sources. And when there’s a commercial partnership or a product received for review, that will be clearly disclosed.

This magazine came out of a genuine love for beauty and, just as much, a love of knowing things properly. Professional knowledge should be accessible, organized, and trustworthy. You can enjoy beauty without surrendering a critical eye. And when professionals share what they know instead of guarding it, everyone comes out ahead - the industry, the brands, the professionals, and above all, the readers.

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here, and I’d love you to be part of what we’re building.
