Almost no model catches the world’s attention as a child and still has a career worth talking about twenty years later. Thylane Blondeau does. She made international headlines as a little girl for the nickname “the most beautiful girl in the world,” and she has spent the years since turning that early fame into an international modeling career, collaborations with major fashion houses, and a place as one of the French models most closely identified with Gen Z.
Raised in the industry
Thylane Léna-Rose Blondeau was born on April 5, 2001, in Aix-en-Provence, France, the daughter of the actress and TV host Véronika Loubry and the former footballer Patrick Blondeau. Fashion and entertainment were effectively the family business, and growing up inside that world is what shaped her professional path.
Discovered at four
Blondeau started modeling at four years old, after the French couturier Jean Paul Gaultier discovered her. She was walking in his show not long after - an extraordinary thing for a child that age, and the beginning of an international career.

“The most beautiful girl in the world”
The nickname came in 2006, when she was six, after her photos ran in Vogue France’s children’s issue. It turned into a global media phenomenon that followed her for years.
She’s said in later interviews that she didn’t grasp what the attention meant at the time, and only understood how recognizable she’d become once she was older.
The career that outlasted the headline
Most child models disappear somewhere around eighteen. Blondeau didn’t. She signed with IMG Models, one of the leading agencies in the world, while she was still a teenager, and started working with international fashion houses and luxury brands.
Among other projects, she’s appeared in campaigns and productions for: Dolce & Gabbana · Miu Miu · Hugo Boss · Versace · Ralph Lauren · L’Oréal Paris
She’s also covered and filled the pages of leading fashion magazines, among them L’Officiel, Jalouse, and LOVE Magazine.
L’Oréal Paris’s youngest ambassador
On her 16th birthday in 2017, L’Oréal Paris named Blondeau an international brand ambassador. It signaled where the brand was heading: a new generation of ambassadors, young women with real followings on social media whose influence on beauty and fashion runs well past the runway.

Beyond modeling
Blondeau has acted, too, appearing in several films including the French Belle et Sébastien: The Adventure Continues. She launched her own fashion brand in 2018 and has since moved into beauty and lifestyle as well.
Social media
Social media is what separates Blondeau from the model generations before her. On Instagram and elsewhere she posts fashion, beauty, travel, and ordinary life to a following in the millions - and that digital reach is exactly why international fashion and cosmetics brands want to work with her.
A personal health disclosure
In 2021, Blondeau shared that she’d had several surgeries for complications from ovarian cysts. In a personal post, she talked about the pain she’d been in and about getting medical care in time. The post drew an enormous response and messages of support from followers around the world.
Personal life
In 2026, after several years together, Blondeau married her partner, French actor and DJ Ben Attal, in a ceremony in Paris.
Why does Thylane Blondeau keep captivating the fashion world?
Her story was never really about the nickname she got as a child. Over the years she got out from under “the most beautiful girl in the world” and built an independent career of her own as a model, a brand ambassador, and a content creator.
Running runway work, international campaigns, and a serious digital presence all at once is what made her one of the defining figures of fashion’s new generation - the one where influence isn’t measured only in magazine covers, but in a direct line to millions of followers around the world.
